Amazon Application – How to Grow Your Amazon Business

How to Grow Your Amazon Business

In this Video Case Study Joe talks about how he took his Amazon business of less than 50 items to several hundred listings that are constantly selling, day after day, 24 hrs a day.

The problem he had was that he often oversold items, this would lead to not being able to send the item to the buyer, and then attracting a defect and negative feedback.

By using Scarcity Managers inventory management software which links directly to your Amazon Store, he was able to use the dynamic features to automatically check his suppliers stock status and update this to his Amazon listing. This was as he says “A Game Changer”. He also was able to compete with his competitors and keep his profit margins stable by making use of the dynamic supplier repricer. We need to know How to Grow Your Amazon Business.

He also shares how he took the same items from his 6 figure eBay business (which he also uses Scarcity Manager for) to double down and sell in his Amazon Store!

Hi guys. My name’s Joe. I recently started selling on Amazon probably around a year ago. I started selling on Amazon using the FBM method⁣or Fulfilled by Merchant which essentially means that I⁣was or have been buying items from a supplier and having⁣ the supplier shipped to my customers from their⁣ warehouse, which is great. It means that I don’t have⁣ to touch any inventory and it’s all done automatically for me.

The problem that I had ⁣was I would quite often oversell items, which meant that a customer would place⁣ the order that I had listed on Amazon, and the supplier may have run out of stock and didn’t⁣actually have any inventory of the item that I had listed⁣on Amazon, which meant that of course I couldn’t send the item to the customer even though⁣they’d already paid for it which is obviously an issue. It, it quite often means⁣that you get a defect or a worse acceler rating on Amazon and can easily attract negative⁣feedback from the buyer.

Around six months ago or more I started using Scarcity Manager the inventory management ⁣software that links straight up straight into Amazon. This meant that the software would⁣ automatically check my listings. Once the I’d loaded my⁣listing, my Amazon listing uploaded it into Scarcity Manager⁣ and filled out the details for each listing from the⁣ supplier into Scarcity Manager. Scarcity Manager will check the check the supplier’s inventory⁣ automatically, and if the if the supplier runs out⁣ of stock on their website it will put your inventory ⁣on Amazon to zero which was an absolute game changer.

It meant that I could scale⁣ my business really quickly on Amazon to the point ⁣where I went from having under 50 listings to over⁣ hundred, 200 listings that are constantly selling⁣ every day 24 hours a day. The other, the other advantage of or the other big advantage ⁣of Scarcity Manager is that it will automatically⁣ change the price via percentage that you set in Amazon. So that, sorry, that you set⁣in Scarcity Manager rather.

So once you’ve set your percentage, if the if the price changes on the supplier then Scarcity Manager will automatically changed the displayed price⁣ that you have set on Amazon which is amazing because not only does⁣it make you competitive with other sellers on⁣ Amazon, it also means that you don’t end up having to pay more for the items that you’re ⁣buying from your supplier and your profit margins⁣ stay the same, which is which is amazing. I honestly wouldn’t be able to⁣get my business to the level that it is now without⁣ software like Amazon, sorry software like Scarcity Manager, it’s an essential part⁣ of, of my business and I don’t know whether I’d even be selling on Amazon if it wasn’t available.

As far as I know, there’s not ⁣any other software that can that can dynamically update my listings in a way that stops me over selling items. And the reason that I started ⁣using Scarcity Manager on Amazon is because I⁣ already had the eBay business doing the same thing which is now generating over six figures. And the fact that I can use even the same ⁣products that I’d researched within Scarcity Manager hot selling products ⁣on eBay are quite often the same products that⁣ you can sell on Amazon.

So you can essentially double up and and sell the same items⁣ that you’re selling on eBay on Amazon, and⁣you can two x, three x or take your business much ⁣further with very little effort because you’ve, you’re basically⁣ using the same listings. Any little issues that⁣ I’ve had along the way with Scarcity Manager within Amazon within the Amazon dashboard, I just email the customer service team⁣and they’re very responsive and friendly and helpful, and any issues that I’ve had have been⁣ addressed very quickly.

Even just little things ⁣like me making mistakes with the way that I may have entered a URL or a percentage incorrectly⁣ was quickly pointed out seamlessly, actually, so that I can, I’ve got the support there from a team of people that will talk to you and tell you how to, how to⁣ fix it, which is very valuable. Yeah, so I can’t really talk it⁣up enough because it, I honestly wouldn’t be⁣able to run my Amazon or eBay business to the level that it’s⁣ gotten to without it.
